Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea

Tie Guan Yin is one of the most renowned Chinese oolongs, originating from Fujian Province. The tea leaves are tightly rolled into dark green rolled leaves with emerald and olive shades, which unfurl into large, whole leaves when brewed. This oolong is distinguished by its bright floral aroma with notes of orchid and fresh grass. The taste is smooth and velvety, with a gentle sweetness and creamy undertones, leading into a long-lasting honey-fruity aftertaste. The effect of the tea is expressed in a soft, invigorating energy: it helps with concentration, enhances productivity, and at the same time creates a sense of inner calm. Tie Guan Yin is well suited both for work and for study. For brewing, it is recommended to use water at 90–95 °C.
