Lapsang Souchong – Red Tea (Black Tea) Lapsang Souchong is a famous Chinese red tea (classified internationally as black tea), originating from Fujian Province. The leaves are dark brown and slightly twisted. When brewed, they fully unfurl, revealing a rich color and the integrity of the leaf. The tea has a distinctive, strong aroma with smoky and woody tones. Its flavor is deep and slightly sweet, with pronounced smokiness, creating a unique and long-lasting aftertaste. It has a mild energizing effect, boosting energy and improving focus. For brewing, it is recommended to use water at 90–95 °C
